Fluid Power - our service for you
We are a sector specific service provider for manufacturers of the hydraulic, pneumatic and sealing technology industry. With about 200 member companies we nearly cover 90% of the German market. Amongst other things our focuses comprise market information and statistics, trade fairs, technology and standardization as well as the promotion of research and innovation. We drive forward areas of activities like Industrie 4.0 which are important for the future.
The mechanical engineering industry is feeling the consequences of the corona pandemic with increasing force. A second current survey by the VDMA, which was answered by 965 member companies, clearly shows this.
From now on you can use the calculation and simulation tool FVA-Workbench free of charge for a period of up to two months. The software licenses are quickly installed and can also be used ideally on home office computers.
At HANNOVER MESSE USA at IMTS, which will take place in Chicago from September 14-19, 2020, participation in the nationally sponsored joint stand will once again be offered. Registration deadline is 06.05.2020.
On 28/29 October 2019, the first specialist congress "Digitisation in Hydraulics" took place in the Stadthalle Sindelfingen, with an exhibition accompanying the congress and marketplaces on specific topics.
The next general meeting in connection with a preceding information event of the Research Fund Fluid Power in the VDMA will take place on June 17, 2020 in Frankfurt am Main. The last event of the Fluid Power Research Fund took place on June 25, 2019, which is reported here.

The VDMA World Map of Free Trade shows many red and yellow areas - a clear warning sign that important markets are closing themselves off or making the exchange of goods increasingly difficult. The VDMA has therefore launched the campaign "Thank you, free trade.“
